So, our son Luke is 15, has his driver's permit and desperately wants his license. We let him drive part of the way to Florida — from Michigan — over Christmas break. He took the wheel on I-75, on the "just before Atlanta" stretch. I started to speak in tongues!

So ... I was in church and getting into the worship when I looked over at my son, Luke. He had his eyes closed one hand raised to the Lord ...

Early on, I had every good intention to feed my husband and kids healthy, balanced meals. But then, I regained consciousness. Why did I put myself through the torture?

What do you have to laugh about? How's your joy quotient? When was the last time you enjoyed a good howl with your husband, kids, and friends?

You are an expensive chick ... and it's time you start acting like it. You are more valuable than you realize. You need to see yourself the way your Creator does.

So, you're busy. I understand. Who's got time to read a blog? Nobody I know ... unless we read something that connects with the life we're living. I am hoping this blog does that for you ...
